BTS, GOT7, TWICE, I.O.I, MONSTA X and many more performs on ‘M! Countdown’ special [Video]

Mnet's "M! Countdown" recently aired special performances during the show's concert in Jeju Island. Various performances from our favorite K-pop artists where seen during the event.

On Oct. 27, "M! Countdown," a music program broadcast by Mnet aired a special performances from the hottest artists in Seoul. According to Soompi, the concert's line-up includes BTS, GOT7, TWICE, I.O.I, MONSTA X, SF9, PENTAGON, Na Yoon Kwon, Davichi, Ladies' Code, Bolbbalgan4, and Crayon Pop.

 The special episode features TWICE's first comeback performance of "TT" on a music television program. Due to its special nature, there was no winner chose for this week's episode.

Meanwhile, the South Koean boy group Bangtan Boys simply known by their stage name BTS is on the Billboard 200 for over two weeks now. Billboard reported that, their album "Wings" spends its second week on the chart making the boy band the first K-pop act to have an entry for more than a week.

BTS album "Wings" is already available in America for over two weeks and sold over 22,000 albums. The albums single "Blood Sweat & Tears" has burst on Billboard's Canadian Hot 100.

Billboard Canadian Hot 100 is the main singles chart in Canada which ranks the week's most popular song in Canada across all genres by radio airplay audience impressions, sales data, and streaming activity.

Previously, "Gangnam Style" singer PSY is topping the chart with his constantly being on the "Top 40 hits." "Gangnam Style" ruled no. 1 for seven weeks, "Gentleman" peaked at no. 9, and "Daddy" featuring CL of 2NE1 which peaked at no. 36.

"Blood Sweat & Tears" marks the best appearance for a K-pop act who isn't PSY after EXO's "Call Me Baby" which peaked at no. 98 in 2015. Just last week, "Wings" debuted at No. 19 on Billboard Canadian Album chart, making a hint that there is a large interest in the group in Canada.
