Tech-savvy persons will surely be excited for the upcoming Huawei Mate handsets. Internally goes by the codenames Manhattan and Long Island, the Huawei Mate 9 and Huawei Mate 9 Pro is set to unveil this November.

The Chinese tech company Huawei will launch an event on Nov. 3 in Munich, Germany to announce their new flagship device, the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro. However, price of the flagship device is still unclear but sources claim that consumers need not to wait long after the event to see it on the shelves, as reported by the Inquirer.

Noted online leakster Evan Blass, known as EVleaks posted on his Twitter account pictures of the upcoming Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro devices which has a resemblance to Samsung's Galaxy S7 and now-defunct Galaxy Note 7. According to Express, Evleaks also teased that flagship devices will feature a 4x optical zoom camera which gave them advantage over numerous Android devices these days.

Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro are reportedly to have a 5.9 inch display powered by their own HiSilicon Kirin 960 processor, a 4GB RAM, and a 64GB and 256GB storage. However, the two devices will differ in display resolution since the Mate 9 is sporting a 1080p full-HD display, while the Mate 9 Pro comes with a 1440 x 2560 QHD resolution.

Rumor has it that the Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro will come in an iPhone style rose gold color when it arrives. Leaked promo images also revealed that the handsets will feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear, whereas Evleak's most recent suggestion indicates that the Mate 9 will copy the obsolete Note 7 by replacing its sensor in front. Both Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro features an Android nougat 7.1 and a USB-C charging.

In 2015, the company shipped over 100 million smartphones worldwide for the first time and is now looking to expand their product range from high-end to mid-end devices. Just recently, Huawei revealed their Nova and Nova Plus handsets at IFA 2016 which targets budget-conscious customers.
