Are Demi Lovato and John Mayer dating? The musicians were recently seen getting cozy up with each other at West Hollywood over the weekend, sources reveal.
Lovato and Mayer hung out at the hip Los Angeles hot spot called Catch on Oct. 22, Saturday. An onlooker tells New York Magazine that Mayer "had his arm around Demi and was whispering sweet nothings into her ear." Lovato on the other hand "was into it" and was giggling the entire time.
ET Online reports that the Lovato and Mayer came in separate groups and also left separately. During their rendezvous, 39-year-old Mayer was reportedly "complimenting [Lovato's] music and she looked excited while talking to him."
The Demi Lovato and John Mayer dating rumors come in good timing, considering that both are very single at the moment. The 24-year-old "Body Say" songstress ended her six-year romance with Wilmer Valderrama in June this year. As for Mayer, the "Your Body Is a Wonderland" singer hasn't been on the dating radar ever since her split from Katy Perry in 2014.
In an interview with Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live," Mayer expressed that he's "ready to roll" and find new love. "I'm older and more mature than I've ever been and the stage is set," Mayer enthused.
Interestingly, Mayer and Lovato co-write the song "World of Chances," which was featured in the latter's 2009 album "Here We Go Again."
Meanwhile. Mayer is planning his grand return to the music scene. He recently tweeted, "Mixes and meetings and photo shoots and finishing touches. Pop Music I'm comin' back," indicating that he's working on new material.
Mayer hasn't released new music since he dropped "Paradise Valley" in 2013. For the most part since, he's been busy touring and collaborating with other artists. He is rumored to release his new album in 2017.
