Known for playing Glenn Rhee in "The Walking Dead," Steven Yeun, 32, is set to star as a voice actor in an animated film for the first time. The South Korean actor will voice the lead character Tony Chu in "Chew."

Directed by Jeff Krelitz, "Chew" is based on the John Layman and Rob Guillory's 2009 comics of the same name. The story revolves around Tony Chu, a detective with a weird secret; he is a cibopath, which means he gets psychic impressions from the food he eats.

As a cibopath and a detective, Rhee has to nibble on the corpse of a murder victim to solve a whodunit. The Special Crimes Division of the FDA has brought him on to investigate their most bizarre cases.

Yeun's fellow voice actors in "Chew" are Felicia Day and David Tennant. Day is known for playing Charlie Bradbury in "Supernatural" from 2012 to 2015 while Tennant played Kilgrave in "Jessica Jones" and voiced the Fugitoid in "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles."

Yeun is not new to voicing an animated character. Before voicing Tony Chu in "Chew," the South Korean actor voiced Charles in "American Dad!" Season 10 episode 3 titled "Blagsnarst, a Love Story" and Wan in "The Legend of Korra" Season 2.

In 2007, Yeun also voiced a Korean soldier in the video game titled "Crysis." In 2008, he voiced a Korean soldier in the video game titled "Crysis Warhead," as well.

The last live-action film Yeun starred in was the 2014 sci-fi drama film "I Origins," which was written and directed by Mike Cahill. His co-stars included Michael Pitt, Astrid Berges-Frisbey, Brit Marling and John Schiumo, among others.

In "The Walking Dead" Season 6, Yeun's character Glenn Rhee will be seen again in the ninth episode titled "No Way Out." The episode directed by Greg Nicotero and written by Seth Hoffman will be aired on AMC on Feb. 14.

Meanwhile, Negan is set to be featured in "The Walking Dead" Season 6. He is the most notorious villain from the comic book version to be played by "Grey's Anatomy" alum Jeffrey Dean Morgan, who will appear as a guest star in the Season 6 finale, according to Hollywood Reporter.

Recently, "The Walking Dead" creator Robert Kirkman told Entertainment Weekly that Negan is "kind of an atomic bomb that's going to be dropped on the show and the show will probably never be the same after that."
