Just a few more episodes to go and "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" will be gone from the air time; however, fans could not face the truth that their favorite Korean drama will be ended soon. Although no official statement has been given if the series will still air for a second season, speculations and rumors roam every social media. There is more than one reason why the addicting program should have its second season.

Although "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" is not that much popular in its home country, its millions of fans overseas should not be disregarded in countries like Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, and India among others. The Korean drama has reached a billion views on the largest streaming site in Asia, Youku.

Ultimately, Lee Joon Gi who plays as Fourth Prince Wang So has been highly recognized for his acting prowess and is achieving much acceptance outside Korea. Because of his popularity in China, he bags the topmost list being the most sought-after Korean actor on Weibo which is a micro-blogging site in China just like Twitter.

Meanwhile, Chatt Sports Net reported that "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 17 airing will also get delayed for the same reason, as episode 16 gave way to a baseball game last week. The delay caused too much disappointment to fans that SBS will compensate with additional episodes (18 & 19) and will likely wrap up the series on Nov. 1 due to baseball matches.

However, an update confirmed that "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" episode 17 will be aired on Oct. 24, Tuesday. The Round 3 baseball game will still be aired on the same date but on the SBS Sports channel, according to Yibada. Aside from the upcoming episodes 18 and 19, SBS might come up with a special episode on Nov. 2, Wednesday.

Only four more episodes are left and each scene is getting more and more intense as the claim for the throne is causing more hardships and claiming more lives. Fans are already obsessed with the series and the cancellation last weekend of episode 16 created commotions.
