Rumors and speculations are circulating the internet that EXO's D.O. (Do Kyung Soo) will no longer be part of the group and will make his own path in terms of career. It was reported that D.O. will concentrate on his acting prowess after being commended for his supporting role in "It's Okay, That's Love", a romantic comedy drama where Gong Hyo Jin and Jo In Sung star.

Speculations of D.O. leaving the EXO group started when he did not return from Japan along with the members after the group completed their concert in the said country. Same thing happened when D.O. was not able to attend the Hawaiian workshop and EXO's CF shoots with no official notice. It is no secret to fans that he has less schedule for October according to the group's official schedule.

According to rumors gathered by iTechPost, D.O. is concentrating on his acting career. Aside from having a supporting role on "It's Okay, That's Love", he has a lead role in the "Pure Love" 2016 movie together with Kim Soo Hyun. The EXO member furthermore has a lineup of acting projects. He got the lead role of "Positive Physique" and bagged two significant acts in the movies "Brothers" with Jo Jung Suk and Park Shin Hye, and "With God" (fantasy movie) with Cha Tae Hyun and Ha Jung Woo.

Dekh News reported that D.O. once said in an interview that he didn't want to have skincare like a superstar, and being one is not worth it since he has an acting disease. Additionally, he did not go to Hawaii because he was having a happy hour with his acting connections.

Since EXO was introduced in 2011, three members have already left.  In May 2014, EXO-M leader, Kris, sued SM Entertainment over human rights violation of the company after the launch of "Overdose". On the same year, EXO-M Luhan filed a lawsuit in October accusing the company of health reasons and alleged discrimination between the two groups, EXO-M, and EXO-K members.  Tao was requested by his father to leave the group and return to China since his injuries are not treated properly and filed a lawsuit to end his contract.
