"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is coming soon to major gaming consoles and PC. Whetting the appetite of the eager fans Dragon Ball even more is the promise that the upcoming game will offer something special: a companion manga and an art book.

The news of the included manga also came with the additional announcement from the series creator Akira Toriyama. According to Attack of the Fanboy, Toriyama revealed that he is working on the series less and less as he is giving the reigns to Toyotaro in pushing the series further. But even though he is no longer in charge of drawing, he is still part of providing the basic story art of the series.

The companion manga set to be released with the game has faithfully followed the characters featured in the game. The plot about the manga has yet to be revealed or whether a copy of the collector's manga will be printed for general publication. However, if the manga is based on the video game, it will most likely feature the time travelling characters dealing with various villains or even learn skills from different masters.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is the sequel to the popular fighting game of the same name. The first edition of the game released in early in 2015 while the sequel is set for release on Oct. 25. But before the game is released to the public, Neurogadget reports that the beta version will be available for limited PlayStation 4 players from Oct. 8-10.

The sequel in the fighting game series will have some key difference from the first edition. Among them is increased customization of the character as well some upgrades on the RPG portion of the game. Players will have more interaction with the storyline in the game while maintaining the element of traveling through time and place in order to master unique skills and ultimately defeat the enemy.
