Even before the main Google event started, Google Pixel handsets have already been unveiled. UK retailer Carphone Warehouse accidentally leaked Google's new handsets - Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL - publicizing link of photos along with detailed slides, and specs.

The image of the devices that circulated online is the same devices that were seen in the previous leaks. The smartphones have the Google logo "G," along with the tagline "Phone by Google." Carphone Warehouse's disclosed pages appeared with full specs, involving recognizable details of 5-inch display for Pixel and 5.5-inch for the Pixel XL. Other information includes the Snapdragon 821 processor as well the 4 GB RAM.

Moreover, there is optional internal storage of 32GB or 128GB with the Pixel having a battery of 2,770 mAh and 3,450 mAh for Pixel XL. Pixel has a screen resolution of 1,080 x 1,920 while Pixel XL has 1,440 x 2,560. The devices are almost exact with an offset camera situated on the front of the case and it seems on the rear is a rounded fingerprint scanner.  Located at the bottom is the antenna line with a split material pattern on the rear. The device's top third has a glossier surface unlike on the bottom with a matte surface, according to The Verge.

There is a port for a USB Type-C located at the bottom and an outline in the case that implies of a headphone on top of the phone. It was rumored that HTC will be the manufacturer of the said devices. The devices also come with Android 7.1 Nougat and Google Assistant.

Aside from the aforementioned leaked information, Carphone Warehouse likewise disclosed some Google software features like the Google Photo's free photo storage, the Duo video chat app and the Allo messaging app to name a few. Google Pixel and Pixel XL also boast of a 15-minute charging for a battery life of seven hours. Another thing is the comeback of Live Cases which are phone cases that are tailored and was introduced earlier for the Nexus 5X, 6, and 6P for $35, as noted by TechRadar.

Hopefully, there is still some information left for Google to inform their audience about Google Pixel and Pixel XL. They could still inform the exact price of the devices and confirm if the leaked information is true, ending speculations and rumors.
