One thing that made Blizzard's hit multiplayer shooter "Overwatch" very appealing was the way the company marketed the game, namely the lovely and cool designs of the characters. Aside from the official animated shorts, two YouTubers made two separate anime-style openings showcasing the different scenes from said shorts, trailers and gameplay footage - and how they blend so well!

Gamespot did a cover on this recently mentioning that YouTube user Helix 101 used the ending theme for the anime "Mob Psycho 100" for the video he made. The video consists of numerous scenes cut from the official videos that Blizzard released for the game.

The YouTube user was able to blend the Japanese band All Off's "Refrain Boy" and the "Overwatch" scenes so perfectly that it almost seemed that the game has an actual anime series! To even add authenticity, Helix 101 even added a text overlay written in both Japanese and English just like how all anime series do their opening sequences.

Earlier, a YouTube user named "inkling inkling" made a similar video with the opening theme of the anime "Arpeggio of Blue Steel."

Speaking of the anime "Mob Psycho 100," it is a series following a seemingly unassuming middle school student Shigeo Kageyama. What makes it interesting is that the student actually has a powerful alter ego named Esper, who appears after Shigeo Kageyama loosens control of his emotional state from everyday stress. In this state, the student loses control and causes all manner of chaos. The anime series is created by the studio ONE, which also created "One Punch Man."

Earlier in an article from Polygon, Blizzard Entertainment just released another promotional short film about another of "Overwatch's" characters, Bastion. The company is still planning to release more short films featuring each of the interesting characters in the game. The next one is supposedly about Roadhog. Additionally, the game will also be releasing its first graphic novel "Overwatch: First Strike" sometime this year.
