Actor Keanu Reeves has a new canine sidekick in "John Wick: Chapter Two." The upcoming sequel will be featuring twice as much action as the original "John Wick."

A new debut image for "John Wick: Chapter Two" has surfaced online. John Wick and his new dog are walking together across the Brooklyn Bridge and look intact. To recall, John Wick got a new dog at the end of the original "John Wick."

Canadian actor and producer Reeves reprises his role as a vengeful assassin in "John Wick: Chapter Two." According to Entertainment Weekly, the new cast members include "Orange is the New Black" star Ruby Rose in an undisclosed role, "Wanted" actor Common as the head of security for a female crime lord, "22 Jump Street" villain Peter Stormare in an undisclosed role, and "The Matrix" star Laurence Fishburne as The Bowler King. Ian McShane (Winston), Bridget Moynahan (Helen Wick), John Leguizamo (Aurelio), and Lance Reddick (Charon) will all return to their original roles.

Exhibitor Relations tweeted the new jet-setting location of "John Wick: Chapter Two," The Independent reported. Reeves's character Wick has to travel to Rome to kick some Italian ass. He is forced to back out of his retirement by a former associate to seek vengeance following the murder of his wife and dog.

Director Chad Stahelski said that "John Wick: Chapter Two" will feature twice as much action as the first movie "John Wick." He tipped that there will be better action scenes than the first release. Everything in this sequel will be more focused on the fallout from the first film, leading to more dangerous action scenes.

Stahelski is returning solo to helm "John Wick: Chapter 2" since co-director David Leitch is still shooting the spy thriller "Coldest City," starring Charlize Theron and James McAvoy. The original screenwriter Derek Kolstad is back to pen the screenplay. The production already started last year on Oct. 26.

"John Wick: Chapter Two" is scheduled to hit the theaters on Feb. 10, 2017.
