Yusuke Murata's "One Punch Man" Season 2 release date continues to spread in the rumor mill. The much awaited second installment will hit TV screens soon. Also, fans may see an ultimate fight between Saitama and Garou and a possible time jump.
Reportedly, there are new claims that's been circling online revealed that it is set to air this month or before the Halloween.
However, such an early release might not come into light as the producers "needs more time to wait for another story arc." It is being said that all seven volumes of the manga series were included on "One Man Punch" Season 1 and an episode of the series consists of three to five chapters from the manga.
Also, it takes four months to create one volume. With that being said, it could take at least two years for the creators to complete "One Punch Man" Season 2, according to MNR Daily.
As fans clamor for the next installment, speculations arise that Saitama will face a new opponent in the form of Garou, after he defeated Lord Boros on previous season. Garou, hasn't made any appearance on "One Punch Man" Season 1, but his character has been included on the manga and webcomic series.
Mobipicker also speculated that Lord Boros may come back and a time jump will reveal Saitama's heritage.
It has been almost a year since the webcomic series debuted in October and concluded with 12 episodes. Though it received successful ratings on TVQ, TVO, BS Japan and KBS in Japan, and was streamed through Hulu, a definite "One Punch Man" Season 2 release date is yet to be confirmed.
Moreover, rumors about "One Punch Man" Season 2 release date and plot have been piling up, but creators of the series are still mum. So, for now, fans may keep their fingers crossed.
