Fans of one of the hottest Korean boy bands today, EXO, are thrilled that their idols are performing in various parts of Southeast Asia. In Manila, tickets for the first day of "The EXO'luXion" were immediately sold out.

Organizer PULP Live World and the venue company SM Mall of Asia Arena  confirmed that tickets to the highly anticipated concert were sold out since December.

Originally planned as a one-day event, "The EXO'luXion" was changed to a two-day concert in response to the clamor of the group's legions of fans in the Philippines.

EXO's members currently include members Kai, Baekhyun, Chanyeol, D.O, Suho, Lay, Sehun, Chen, and Xiumin.  The individual members maintain their own social media accounts, where they post updates and snaps.

EXO kicked off "The EXO'luXion" concert tour with jampacked shows at Seoul's Olympic Park Stadium in Seoul. The EXO Planet #2 - The EXO'luXion previously made its way to Nanjing.  EXO's huge popularity in China led to setting up a separate private passage at the airport, Allkpop reported.

EXO will also visit five North American cities in February, K-Soul Magazine reported.

The  EXO's award-winning album, XOXO, catapulted the group to worldwide fame. Songs like "Growl," "Call Me Baby," "Overdose," "Miracles in December," and "Sing For You" always make avid fans swoon.

EXO's recent "Lightsaber" collaboration video which channelled the mystique of the blockbuster film "Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens" became one of K-pop's most celebrated acts. Kai, Baekhyun, and Sehun became ambassadors of the latest film franchise.

The all-male group has been the subject of controversies since 2014 owing to lawsuits filed by some of the original members with talent management firm SM Entertainment.

Early last year, SM Entertainment filed cases against Luhan and Kris for allegedly overlooking their binding contract status with the talent management agency.

To date, the remaining members of EXO have focused on rendering their best efforts as a group, much to their fans' delight.

Other popular South Korean artists who have performed at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in the past were Big Bang, 2PM, and 2NE1, apart from singer-songwriter PSY and  actor-singer Lee Min-ho.
