After more than 9 months of dating, South Korean power couple Junsu of boy band JYJ and EXID member Hani has resolved to put their romantic relationship to conclusion.

This revelation was confirmed by the Hani and Junsu themselves after rumors regarding their break up surfaced on the news headlines, All Kpop reported. Following the couple’s confession, Hani’s talent management agency Banana Culture released an official statement to speak for the ex-lovers.

“It’s true that Kim Junsu and Hani broke up. We cannot confirm the specific time when they broke up. It appears as though they naturally broke up because of their busy schedules,” a representative from Banana Culture stated as quoted by Soompi.

Junsu and Hani disclosed their relationship to the public on January 1 this year. The pair was first spotted together at the Han River inside Junsu’s car.

According to Soompi, the KPop idols have been in a mutual relationship for 6 months before making their relationship official. The news site added that they have been supporting each other before they became close.

Born as Ahn Hee Yeon, Hani started her career in the industry after being part of the girl band EXID in 2012 as a six-member group. They made their debut through their single "Whoz That Girl".

In 2014, she pursued her solo career after starring in the TV program “Always Cantare” by tVn. A year after, she made an appearance for Mad Clown's “Fire" music video.

Junsu, on the other hand, made his debut in the show business after joining the boy group TVXQ in 2003 but left the band in 2009 due to legal issues with his former agency SM Entertainment. He is currently one of the members of the boy group JYJ Jaejoong and Yoochun.
